Day 1: Arusha Coffee Lodge
This afternoon arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for dinner and overnight
Arusha Coffee Lodge - Half Board
Tonight enjoy your first night in Tanzania on one of Africa's oldest coffee farms. Dating back to 1899 the plantation enjoys views of Mt Mount Meru and some of Africa's finest Arabica coffee. The forest compromises of 118 hectares and is home to an abundant species of local birds, bushbuck plus other native fauna. Bushbuck are seen regularly wandering in and out of the coffee as they lead a peaceful life on the farm.
Day 2 - 4 : Chem Chem Safari Lodge
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Chem Chem Safari Lodge arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive into Tarangire National Park. Situated between the wildlife corridor of Tarangire and Lake Manyara National parks this camp is full of love for all things wildlife.
Spend the next few days enjoying game drives in Tarangire National Park, selected activities at Chem Chem in and around the concession area and witness as stunning African sunset on the salt pans of Lake Manyara.

Tarangire National Park
Two hours north of Arusha, on the eastern side of Lake Manyara, the 2850 sq kms of national park is a ecosystem covering an area of 20,000 sq kms. Wildlife in Tarangire consists of herds of elephants, migratory herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala’s, hartebeest and eland over 550 species of birdlife such as kori bustards, african grey and crowned hornbill, lovebirds, black headed and rufus bellied heron, lilac breasted roller, black faced sandgrouse, curlew sandpiper and white faced scope's owl.
The seasons magically transform the park as baobabs start to lose their leaves, the end rainy season is finished in mid May. As the dry season approaches, the green grass habitat is replaced by a more golden grass where lions and leopards lose their distinct advantage over unsuspecting grazers. Seasonal waterholes will start to dry up, and most wildlife will make its way down to the Tarangire River.
Day 5: The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Conservation area via Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a leisurely game drive with picnic lunch through the park and opportunity to walk in the tree canopy.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge - (Full Board) (BLD)
Lake Manyara National Park situated at the base of the rift valley escarpment, is home to migratory pink hued flamingo, pelicans, and over 400 species of birdlife. The contrast in vegetation consists of lush jungle forest to open grassy plains. On the waters edge, plains game are giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and elephant. Hippos wallow at the edge of the lake in the hippo pool, and noisy ground hornbills greet you on arrival.
Baboons spend their time hanging out on the road near the park entrance happy to watch the world pass by. Lake Manyara is also known for the famous tree climbing lions, which are often seen in the acacia woodland, just inland of the flood plains.
The park is 330 km square and the soda lake spans up to 200kms, when water levels are high. Viewing from the top of the rift valley escarpment is impressive. The lake for stretches for miles and the blanket of pink of flamingo’s covers the landscape in wet season.
Day 6: The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
After breakfast drive to the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the sunken cone of this extinct caldera. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the crater floor. The crater’s high walls serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. All the so-called "big five' may be seen. Among the notable birds are Lammergeyer, Vereaux's Eagle and Egyptian Vulture, which make their home in the highest area of the crater wall. The beautiful Rosy-breasted Longclaw, which appears on the plains after rains, flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos which are spasmodic visitors to the crater lakes. A picnic lunch will be served.

Day 7: Kichakani Serengeti Camp
After breakfast you will start the next part of your journey to Southern Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing enroute and stunning scenery as you make your way down from Ngorongoro Highlands into the vast Serengeti plains. A picnic lunch will be provided for along the way.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. Its name means 'endless plain' in the Masai language. It is from here that massive concentrations of wildebeest, zebras and other animals commence the annual Great Migration in search of pastures new, providing one of the greatest natural spectacles to be found anywhere in the world. You can watch golden-maned lions stalking the migrating herds, spot leopards at rest in trees at dusk and take a hot-air balloon tour at dawn as the sun’s golden rays illuminate the land.

Day 8 - 10: Kichakani Serengeti Camp
As the sun rises on your second day in the Serengeti, make the most of the wildlife opportunities. After breakfast a picnic lunch will be organised as you head out to spend the day looking for game - whilst enjoying the magic that this park has to offer. Over the next two nights, on dusk watch the spectacular African sunset setting over the vast Serengeti plains. At night back at camp dinner is served and evening drinks by the camp fire is the perfect way to discuss the exciting day’s events. Listen while you drift off to sleep as the bush comes alive with the distant calls of hyena and lion.

Day 11: Departure Day
This morning after breakfast drive to Ndutu airstrip for a scheduled flight Ndutu/Arusha 1055hrs/1220hrs. On arrival you will be met at Arusha airport and transferred for your onward flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
