The Location

Participants will find themselves embraced by nature’s beauty at two tranquil private homes nestled within Vistas de Chirripó. These cozy sanctuaries are connected by a network of enchanting trails that wind through lush landscapes, inviting exploration and moments of awe. Wandering these paths, guests will uncover meditation gardens, where serenity reigns; stumble upon hidden jungle alcoves; and be soothed by the gentle rush of a flowing river. Each step leads deeper into a wonderland of rich, untouched jungle, creating a soulful journey in a place that feels like pure magic.

Honoring The Land

Perched high in the mystical mountains of Pérez Zeledón, Vistas de Chirripó rests on land once inhabited by the Boruca tribe, whose traditions and spirit echo through the verdant valleys and ancient forests. In times past, the Boruca people lived in harmony with this land, deeply connected to the rhythms of nature and the energy of the towering Chirripó peak. The area was later deforested, yet over decades, a labor of love led to its reforestation, reviving a landscape that now flourishes with rich biodiversity—an homage to the Boruca’s reverence for the earth. Visitors to Vistas de Chirripó can feel the special energy that fills the air here, a rare blend of history, nature’s resilience, and a profound sense of peace that touches the soul. This sanctuary is a testament to healing, inviting guests to walk in harmony with the land’s past and be present to its beauty today.

Day One: The Journey Begins

Please plan your arrival into SJO airport for Jan 5th.

Take some time to settle in to the energy of Costa Rica prior to departing for our experience the next morning.

Pre-immersion lodging at Adventure Inn is included in this experience, as well as your transportation from the airport to the hotel. A trusted guide will greet you at the hotel to help get you settled in.

Day Two: Settling in to the Serenity

On Day Two, our journey begins with a scenic shuttle ride from San José to the lush landscapes of Pérez Zeledón. Upon arrival, participants will be warmly welcomed with an array of fresh tropical fruits to refresh and energize. There will be time to settle in and unwind, allowing the peaceful surroundings to work their magic. In the afternoon, we’ll ease into the experience with a restorative movement session designed to relax and center. As evening falls, a special welcome dinner awaits, followed by a gathering around the fire where we’ll learn about the rich history of the land, its indigenous heritage, and the inspiring reforestation efforts that have revived this sacred area.

Day Three: Movement & Ritual

Day Three unfolds as a day of sacred movement and profound connection with the land. The morning begins with a mindful movement practice, awakening the body and spirit with gentle awareness. As we continue, participants will be guided into a deep immersion with nature, beginning with a water ritual in the nearby stream—a cleansing and grounding experience to honor the flow of life. A foraging walk follows, inviting a deeper understanding of the plants that flourish here. Together, we’ll create an earth altar, a symbolic offering and an expression of gratitude to the land. As the day turns to evening, we gather for a cacao ceremony, with an optional psilocybin microdose, opening space for inner reflection, connection, and heartfelt intention. This sacred day offers a true communion with the earth and oneself, a journey woven with ceremony and reverence.

Day Four: Hearts in Harmony

On Day Four, we’ll flow through an inspiring blend of movement and mindful connection. The day begins with gentle movement to ground and center, followed by a gathering in the Meditation Garden, where we’ll share reflections and integrate the journey so far in a space of collective support. This day holds a special significance as we open the retreat’s container to the community, welcoming local women to join us for a day of shared experience. Believing deeply in the power of women gathering, we come together to inspire, uplift, and expand our collective consciousness. Anchoring this intention, we’ll unite in a Heart Coherence Meditation, creating a shared energy of connection and purpose.

A light lunch nourishes us before we set off on a forest bathing hike, a journey through the lush jungle that leads to a hidden waterfall—an opportunity to connect with nature’s tranquility and refresh our spirits. After returning, there will be time to decompress before heading to Kinara, a nearby retreat center, for a group dinner and a final gathering around the fire. Here, under the stars, we’ll celebrate the day’s unity and the beauty of these lands that have brought us together.

DAY FIVE: Woven Harvest

On Day Five, we’ll venture to one of Costa Rica’s largest farmers markets, a vibrant gathering created and organized by the local community. Here, we’ll browse stalls brimming with hyper-local foods, fresh vegetables, and exotic fruits, connecting with the people whose hands tend the land and bring these offerings to life. With baskets full of ingredients, we’ll return to our retreat space, ready to prepare a collective dinner later that evening.

Upon returning, we’ll spend the day engaging in creative sessions inspired by nature, allowing time to journal and reflect as our journey together nears its close. Before sunset, we’ll gather for a transformative sound healing journey led by your trusted guides, a moment to fully relax and absorb the experiences we’ve shared. The evening will culminate with a collective dinner, crafted from our market finds, as we gather one last time to celebrate, share, and close out this meaningful experience in gratitude and connection.

Day Six: Farewells- Anchoring in Reverence

On our final day, we’ll gather for a nourishing breakfast, sharing one last meal together in the spirit of gratitude and reflection. This will be a time to anchor in the wisdom of our beautiful shared experience, celebrating the connections and insights that have blossomed throughout our journey. As we conclude, ground transportation will be provided to take everyone back to San José.

We recommend, if possible, spending one more night in the city to allow for rest and gentle integration before flying out the next day, giving space for these memories and reflections to settle in.
