Welcome to our Soul Sisters SUP Retreat!
Relax, reset and luxuriate with your girlfriends (or meet new ones) while exploring the spectacular Saanich Peninsula coastlines on southern Vancouver Island. Running over 3 days, this girl’s getaway will offer you the best of food, accommodation and magical stand up paddleboard adventures in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie.
Only minutes from the Victoria International Airport, Swartz Bay ferry terminal, and half an hour from downtown Victoria, you will find the refined, oceanfront Sidney Pier Hotel, our base for the next 3 days. Boasting a commanding view of the bay, it’s the perfect place for a SUP Sister’s retreat - stunning views, delicious food, a soothing spa and sheltered inlets inviting you to explore.
We begin our paddling journey in charming Sidney-by-the-Sea, where your historic, seaside accommodation is located. Over the weekend you will stand up paddleboard and explore places like Glass Beach, where you can beach comb for coloured glass, polished by time and tide; picturesque Tod Inlet, and the iconic Southern Gulf Islands resplendent in marine life and white shell beaches. Activities will include gentle yoga, peaceful meditation, wild swimming and of course... laughter.
Each day we will take a paddling journey to show you the wonders of the Saanich Peninsula. You will also have free time each day to either relax at The Latch Inn, wander around the Sidney waterfront, or visit popular sites like the Salish Sea Centre.
After busy days on the water, you and your friends can relax by the sea, enjoy tasty dinners at local restaurants, and kick back around a warming fire. If you want to reconnect with nature and others, become a better standup paddler, and come away feeling rejuvenated with your heart full, this is the retreat for you.
If you’re ready for a fun, active girls’ weekend - this west coast, British Columbia-based SUP Sisters Paddleboard Retreat is it!

THIS ADVENTURE IS FOR ALL LEVELS
This girls weekend is focused on connection, restoration and fun while still including active adventures via SUP. You will thoroughly enjoy this adventure if you feel comfortable with water, swimming, gentle yoga and stand-up paddling at an easy pace for 2-2.5 hours per day in calm conditions. We do want to keep things age-appropriate so for this weekend, 18+ is preferred unless you have a private group.

STAY AT THE SIDNEY PIER HOTEL
Arriving at The Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa, you are welcomed into a bright, bustling lobby with guests working or relaxing on leather chairs clad in cool, nautical blues and greens. This is waterfront luxury at its best. All rooms boast a simple, minimalist design with stylish furnishings, super-soft pillowtop beds, comfy robes and slippers and free Wi-Fi. The Haven Spa & Salon and our fitness centre are focused on relaxation and rejuvenation, offering a full spectrum of services and we recommend if you want treatments, to book ahead.

MEET YOUR SUP LEADER
Hi! I'm Pam!
I am a certified Paddle Canada SUP Basic & Advanced Flatwater Instructor, as well as a Coastal Touring 1 Instructor. My goal is to share a love of the ocean, from the perspective of paddling and ocean literacy in order to foster connections between people and between people and the sea. My teaching style emphasizes safety & technical skills while having fun in a positive, supportive environment.
Having studied Marine Biology at the University of Guelph & Commercial Photography at Sheridan College, I am blending my passions through teaching SUP in BC and ON. My love of the water has led me to many aquatic pursuits - canoeing as a child, competitive sailing, sprint canoe/kayak racing and long-distance Outrigger Canoe racing before discovering the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding.
