**This is a private departure for Endicott College Alumni and Trustees, as well as their travel companions**
Join this fabulous small group tour to Ireland with Detailed Journeys! Ireland is a land of enchantment, with its lush green fields, misty hills, and ancient castles steeped in history. On this tour, you'll get to experience the very best that this beautiful country has to offer.
We start in the bustling city of Dublin, with its vibrant nightlife and rich literary heritage, before heading out into the countryside to see some of Ireland's most stunning natural landscapes. Step back in time with a visit to the historic city of Galway, with its medieval streets, quaint shops, and lively street performers. Visit the Cliffs of Moher, where you'll be blown away by the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the rugged coastline. And no trip to Ireland would be complete without a visit to the iconic Blarney Castle, where you can kiss the famous Blarney Stone and gain the gift of the gab!
We're also adding an educational flare to the tour! Prior to the trip there will be an assigned reading, which will celebrate Ireland's rich literary tradition. Once onsite, we will discuss it together, hopefully with a pint or cuppa in hand! In addition, we have a few itinerary stops that highlight Endicott's academic programs of study - including business, interior design, and hospitality. We'll also see the campus in Cork where the Ireland study abroad program takes place!
Come and experience the magic of Ireland for yourself!

Q: What are the rigors on this tour?
A: Rigors include: Walking on cobblestones, stairs, and uneven ground. You should be comfortable walking un-assisted up to 3 miles a day (not all at once) and sitting 2-3 hour periods on a coach bus. If you need a cane, there is room for it on the coach, however we do not have space for walkers or scooters. There is an uphill walk of 100 yards at the Rock of Cashel from the parking lot to the entrance. It is paved and you can take your time. The most rigorous aspect of the main trip itinerary is the visit to Aillwee Cave, which is why it is an optional experience.
