Travel with your transformational travel coach Rachel Gilmore

My highest purpose is to Love humanity! My gift is helping humanity see the truth of who they are, what their gifts are, and teach people how to share their gifts with the world in a way that makes the greatest impact towards a better world for all of us.

I've been in business for myself since the age of 19 years old. I have owned many different businesses including a Pet Resort, a Fitness studio, and a Coaching practice. I have been trained in business, fitness, nutrition, NLP and so much more. Although I believe training is very important, its been my life experiences that have taught me the most.  After all the trainings, and coaching programs I have been through, nothing transformed me like traveling abroad and seeing the world.

After losing a business, my marriage, my dream home, my health and my brother I was at the end of the line physically, mentally & emotionally. I went on a search to find myself, to heal myself, to find purpose, happiness and true fulfillment in life. I found my truth, I found my purpose and I began to walk in that truth helping others to do the same. It was on a transformational journey in South East Asia I birthed Earth and Soul Adventures after experiencing the biggest breakthrough of my life. I knew I was called to marry my passion for Coaching and love for travel together to create a truly transformational experience for anyone who answers the call to adventure.

I am so grateful to offer this transformational travel adventure to you, it is with great honor I get to walk alongside you on this beautiful journey. I know that you've been called to this adventure and what you will experience in our 10 days together will transform your life forever.

Testimonials

My transformational travel adventure experience in Bali was a once in a lifetime, transformational journey! Bali is an Island in Indonesia full of blessings, magic, and love! I was able to experience deep healing on all levels mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually while soaking in the beauty of nature and true kindness of the Balinese culture. Soul exploration, personal development, team building, and gaining greater clarity on next steps in my life and business were just a few of the areas that made a huge impact for me on this trip.

Feeling that I was in a place of safe space, I was able to open my heart and give myself permission to be vulnerable in sharing my story with others. Owning our story, and reliving painful experiences with others takes courage, strength, and speaking from a place of truth instead of ego. It is the first step in the journey to loving yourself. From this place of vulnerability, we birth love, innovation, creativity, and change. It is through this change we are able to step into and OWN the power of our highest purpose. During this sharing with others, I had many breakthroughs that opened my heart to higher awareness of forgiveness and compassion.

Rachel Gilmore’s daily coaching was powerful and helped me to gain confidence and clarity that I needed to move to the next higher level in my career. I have a clear framework on areas of focus and improvements to implement over the next 6 months as well as a vision for my long-term future.

The excursions on this trip were beyond words and amazing! The beautiful ocean views, turquoise waters, snorkeling in what seemed like a saltwater aquarium, cooking right from nature in a Balinese cooking class, swimming in waterfalls, and exploring a monkey forest just to name a few!

Overall, this experience in Bali has opened me up to greater emotional states of TRUST, RESPECT, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, and LOVE. I have a sense of peace and joy in my life, a clear vision for my future, and more energy and motivation than I have ever felt before! I am so grateful for this opportunity of being able to step out of my comfort zone, step into my power, and raise my vibration energetically.

Rachel Gilmore’s Transformational travel adventure in Bali was a trip of a lifetime for so many reasons. I went expecting to fine tune my small business plan, identify obstacles holding me back, and soak up the sun and the gratitude-filled, mindful, and collaborative culture that is inherent in Bali.
In this beautiful remote location, away from our daily lives and free from distractions, Rachel guided us through exercises  where we had to dig deep and let go. Brainstorming and supporting each other, we accomplished  all of the above and more! I am so proud of what we accomplished and the deeper friendships that we formed. This experience was powerful and productive and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to grow personally and professionally!

I have always known I wanted to start a business, but have been struggling the last few years to formulate what that venture might look like. Having never met Rachel, I landed in Bali with nothing more than that desire and an open heart.

Ten days later, after productive workshops, inspiring excursions, and vulnerable moments with my fellow attendees, I came home with a framework for a business.

Home less than a month, I have already signed my first client.  Not only could I not have accomplished this without the Influencers Retreat, I know that as I build my business, I will continue to work with Rachel for her invaluable guidance and accountability.

I am so grateful to her for her energy, her wisdom, and her beautiful heart.

Sharing this adventure in Puerto Rico with my wife has definitely improved our relationship and I understand her passions and desires to make a difference in the world on a whole new level. I am so grateful for the experience Rachel guided us though.

Day 1 Arrival

Location : Arusha, Tanzania

Day Itinerary

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After finishing passport control and customs procedures, you will be met by your safari guide outside the arrival lounge and taken to your accommodation outside Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening getting to know the group and dinner before you start your Tanzania safari the next day!

A bustling and colorful safari town, Arusha is the gateway to the Northern safari circuit and there’s always an eclectic mix of people huddled in the cafes and restaurants. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru, close to the Kenyan border, the town has an altitude of 1500m and is pleasantly warm year-round with crisp, clean mountain air and surrounded by astonishingly green coffee plantations. Start your day with a cup of the good stuff amidst the rows of verdant bushes, watch the Maasai in their deep red shukas and barter for souvenirs at the gaudy market stalls.

Accommodations: Arusha Villa

Arusha villa is situated on the outskirts of Arusha and is ideally located for several day trips within the region. The villa itself and the surrounding gardens offer a relaxing atmosphere. You can stroll through the gardens with spectacular views of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Multiple terraces offer plenty of room for reading and dozing off whilst enjoying the African sun. Day 2 Tarangire National Park

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Day Itinerary

After breakfast and morning transformational session, depart with a packed lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park where you will proceed with your first game drives! In the afternoon, check into your accommodation close to Lake Burunge for dinner and overnight.

After the Serengeti, Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, and in the dry season the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. This is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are regularly spotted. Tarangire is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, and its breathtaking views of the Maasai Steppe and the mountains to the south. Located just a few hours drive from the town of Arusha, Tarangire is a popular stop for safaris travelling through the northern circuit on their way to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti.

Accomidations: Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge
Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge is located in the heart of Tarangire, Tanzania’s wild land and landscapes. Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, true sense of wilderness and a gentle backdrop of baobabs. It is the lesser visited but more intriguing park on the northern circuit. Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge has 10 standard tented suites (including one honeymoon option with outdoor shower) as well as two 2-bedroom inter-connected tented family suites that are open throughout the year. The camp endeavors to retain the uniqueness and intimacy of the camp, while being directed by the location, wildlife and other factors of responsible tourism. The main thatched area is open plan from bar to lounge to dining area - and offset with a stunning rim flow pool in front of the property overlooking the wild expanses ahead, all the way to the Great Rift Valley wall.

Day 3 Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu/Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Day Itinerary

Today is all about the people of Tanzania! After breakfast & mindfulness morning session, depart with a packed lunch and drive to Mto Wa Mbu where you will get to go on a 1.5-hour stroll through this local farming village. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa. The walk will take you to see local farms, schools, a kindergarten, local homes, the market and milling machines. In the vicinity, you will stop at a local Maasai village to distribute solar lights to a family with no electricity. Make a tangible difference in their lives! In the late afternoon, check into your accommodation on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.

Travelers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will inevitably pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands. Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colorful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. The town offers a variety of activities including browsing the bustling marketplace, sampling beer at a local brewery or visiting a traditional Iraqw homestead.

Accommodations: Lion’s Paw Camp

Nestled beneath a quiet grove of red thorn acacia trees, high atop the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater is Lion’s Paw Camp. One of only a few tented properties located in the Ngorongoro Crater Area, this camp of 10 tents is ideal for those looking to escape the tourist congestion associated with the lodge accommodations. The campsite was carefully selected for its sense of privacy and intimacy with nature, its panoramic views of the Crater Highlands, and its proximity to the crater floor, a mere 10 minutes! It’s the only accommodation in the Crater area that allows you to experience the beauty of the crater floor before the crowds descend. Lions Paw offers an authentic safari experience without sacrificing the warmth and comforts of home. The camp features 10 ample-sized heated canvas tents with spacious sleeping quarters, one of which is a Family tent consisting of two separate bedrooms and a shared bathroom. We will gather around in a circle to unpack the day and discover what golden nuggets we learned about ourselves, & the world that we can return home with to help us BE better humans.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

Day Itinerary

In the morning after an early breakfast you will be one of the first vehicles descending the six hundred meters (2,000ft) into Ngorongoro Crater for superb game viewing with picnic lunch boxes. In the afternoon make your way to Central Serengeti where you will stay for two (2) nights.

Wildlife wonderlands don’t get much better than the Ngorongoro Crater, possibly one of the most iconic animal- viewing areas in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site (and with very good reason), the cavernous bowl-shaped crater is in fact a caldera, formed two to three million years ago when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself. Today, the flat floor is covered in nutritious grasses and home to an unprecedented number of black rhino as well as black-maned lion, magnificent tuskers and smaller plains game, but surprisingly no giraffe. We’ll leave you to ponder why when you visit!

Accommodations: Chaka Kiota Camp

Kiota Camp is permanently located in the Central Serengeti, taking advantage of the year-round wildlife viewing the Seronera Valley and nearby areas have to offer. Perched on a hilltop, Kiota Camp offers a birdseye view of the Seronera River Valley's abundance. With only eleven tents, the camp maintains a quiet presence within the surrounding woodlands and grasslands. The Seronera airstrip is only twenty minutes away, and many of the most famous landscape features and game concentrations can be almost immediately accessed. Just as the area attracts the wild, the wild attracts visitors, and Kiota has been strategically placed to keep out of the crowd's range.

Evening spent together in a mindfulness session, bringing our hearts and minds together in gratitude. Studies show that 3 days of being disconnected from routine and distractions your central nervous system begins to relax and open to new information, new perspectives, new clarity and creativity. How exciting that we still have 6 days together on this magnificent adventure... unlimited possibilities await.

Day 5: Central Serengeti

Day 5: Central Serengeti

Day Itinerary

Spend a full day in Central Serengeti. We are completely flexible with your preferences and the days will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch. This day we will have more time to spend together, great time for 1:1 coaching sessions and deeper dives into personal development and mindfulness.

The Serengeti together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park form Africa’s most famous wildlife parks. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomizes Africa for many, and then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation needs to go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with almost two million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and eland to mention but a few.

Day 6-8: Northern Serengeti/ Kogatende

Day Itinerary

On day 6, depart after breakfast and morning transformational session, we will drive toward Kogatende/Northern Serengeti, for game drives with picnic lunch along the way. In the afternoon, check into your accommodation in Kogatende where you will stay for three (3) nights to witness the Great Migration! Just like in Central Serengeti, every day of your safari will be planned according to how the group feels guided.

The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands. Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the almost two million migrating wildebeest. Commonly spotted wildlife include: a multitude of plains game such as buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe as well as lion, leopard and cheetah. Visitors can look forward to bird watching, hot air ballooning, game safaris and guided bush walks.

Accommodations: Serengeti River Camp

Ideally located only about 500 meters from the famous Mara River, set amidst acacia trees and the whispering grasslands of northern Serengeti is River Camp. This 15-tented camp offers quick access to viewing the spectacular drama of the wildebeest river crossings during the long dry season months of July through October. Each tent has its own private en-suite bathroom that includes running water from a marble-topped single basin vanity, a separate hot shower area elevated on teak wood flooring, an enclosed private flush toilet and a dressing area. Each tent is furnished with a comfortable sitting area complete with a hand-carved solid wood coffee table, cosy upholstered side chairs and a quaint writing desk for journaling about the day’s events.
