  • Are there vaccinations required? No. 
  • Which airport(s) do I fly in and out of? You will fly into Kilimanjaro (JRO airport code) and you will fly out of Zanzibar (airport code ZNZ) for your flight back to the USA Is
  • Is English spoken there? Yes. The official languages of Tanzania are English and Swahili. Most people speak two or more languages.
  • What currency is used there? Tanzanian Shillings which are about $2,300 to $1 American dollar. Mastercard and Visa are widely accepted and there are many ATMs dispensing local currency throughout the country.
  • Is it safe? Yes, Tanzania is safe and has a stable government.
  • Do they have Uber or Lift? No, we have our own personal drivers.
  • Is Tanzania family-friendly? Yes, Tanzania has a stable government.  It has an immense range of wildlife, world-class national parks, beautiful beaches and much more.
  • Must have a valid US Passport (cannot expire within 6 months of dates of travel)
  • Must have a travel visa to enter Tanzania. You can get it online or upon arrival in Tanzania. Visa cost $100 (NOT included in trip cost)
  • No COVID-19 test required
  • Bring small US Bills ($1, $5, $10)
  • Bring empty water bottle so you can drink and protect the planet
  • Bring comfortable walking shoes
  • All Rooms based on double/ triple occupancy (single occupancy is first come, first served and will have addition fee)
