VISA:
-
Required as of April 10, 2025 (originally planned for January but postponed).
-
U.S. passport holders must obtain a visitor visa (VIVIS) before traveling to Brazil.
To streamline the process, the application is done completely online and for such no facilitation is required by any intermediaries. You can conveniently complete this by visiting the following link: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.
As illustrated in the "How to Apply" section. The procedure is straightforward and entirely web-based, with the visa being promptly issued.
Here's a brief overview of the steps:
1. Provide the necessary information.
2. Submit the fee (USD 80 + USD 0.90 site service fee).
3. Download your eVisa PDF.
NOTE: Travelers who have secured the Full Package will receive their airline e-tickets approximately 6 weeks prior to departure. It is advisable to initiate the Brazilian Visa application process once you have received your e-tickets.
For further details or any additional inquiries that you may have, we encourage you to contact the Brazilian Consulate in your respective district directly.
