This afternoon you will depart New York - JFK for Phoenix. Arizona (PHX)

Upon arrival in PHX you will complete airport formalities and then meet your Tour Guide.

You will head to your private coach bus and leave the airport.

Group will stop at Walmart for snacks and goodies that you will want to have while on tour. Navajo Nation is dry so there will be no alcoholic beverages offered until the group reaches Page, AZ on Day 5. Alcohol may only be consumed in hotel rooms while in Navajo Nation.

Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and check into your hotel.

Arrive at Crystal Forest Museum & Gifts. Bathroom stop and stretch.

Depart and enter Petrified Forest National Park. Enjoy this 40-mile stretch of some of the Southwest’s most unique views. The coach will stop at several locations for photo opportunities. Sites that you will see during this drive are the Rainbow Forest Museum Crystal Forest, The Teepee’s Agates Bridge as well as the Blue Mesa Scenic Road loop

Enjoy a boxed lunch served while touring through the Petrified Forest.

Depart National Park

Arrive at Window Rock Tribal Park & Veteran's Memorial stretch your legs and enjoy the views. If council chambers are available for touring, groups will get to enter the Navajo Nations central government chambers.

Check into Thunderbird Lodge, Chinle

Meet local guide and depart Thunderbird Lodge for south rim tour and stories and Spider Rock. This two-hour tour includes traveling 37-miles along the South Rim, viewing different overlooks and ruins along the way. When arriving at the Spider Rock Overlook, you have the option to stretch your legs, catch a great view, hear the history, and stories of the Navajo (Dineh) and the infamous Spider Rock.

Return to Thunderbird Lodge and enjoy Lunch on own at the hotel restaurant 

After lunch you will take a Canyon De Chelly tour

Canyon De Chelly 4-hour tour: Our Navajo guides teach you the history of the canyons and about Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi), Hopi and Navajo peoples. We offer you more than just viewing our scenery. Every guide is a professional, certified by the National Park Service and the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation Department. Kokopelli Cave, Petroglyph Rock, First Ruin, Junction Ruin, Ceremonial Cave, Ledge Ruin, Antelope House Ruin in Canyon Del Muerto, White House Ruin in Canyon De Chelly

Return to Thunderbird Lodge (Potential dancers at 8:00 pm only at certain times of the year) and enjoy Dinner on your own in the restaurant at your leisure.

Enjoy Navajo Dancers at the Thunderbird Lodge. The show will start at 8:00 pm and runs for approximately 1 hour.

Check out and depart Chinle for Monument Valley

Arrive at Goulding's Lodge. Visit Goulding's John Wayne Museum and explore the views, visit the gift shop and prepare for your Monument Valley Experience.

Depart for The View. Enjoy the views while you check in with Simpson's Trail Handler's Monument Valley Jeep tour. Here you will want to ensure you use the rest room before your tour that will include lunch.

Arrive at picnic area within Monument valley and enjoy an included Navajo Taco lunch before continuing your tour throughout Monument Valley

Return to the View center, use the restrooms, visit the gift shop. 

Arrive at Cameron Trading post for time to shop and stretch your legs before dinner, included.

Check in to Navajo Land Hotel Tuba City. Baggage handling included

Depart hotel for Page, AZ

Arrive in Page, AZ and check in for your Antelope Canyon Tour (guests must check in 30 min prior to the tour) NOTE: As of November 2022, wearing a mask on tour is still mandated by the Navajo Nation Government

Depart on Antelope Canyon Tour. After completing the walk through the canyon, there will be a mandatory 1/2 mile hike through some soft sand and up and down a hill - that hill has 200 feet change in elevation with a 20-degree ascend - there are STAIRS INVOLVED (Guests unable to make this hike due to mobility issues will be taken to the Carl Hayden Visitors Center, overlooking the Glen Canyon Dam, where they can enjoy the views).

Arrive at Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant  for included lunch

Depart for Horseshoe Bend. Parking just off US Highway 89. There is a 1.3-mile hike from the parking lot to the Horseshoe Bend overlook. This walk is not to be taken lightly as the trail leads over a hill with little reprieve from the afternoon sun. The Views, upon arrival, will absolutely make up for this extra effort. (Guests unable to make this hike due to mobility issues will be taken to the Antelope Point Marina following lunch where they can enjoy a drink and take in the views of Lake Powell, while they wait for the group to return from their hike. Bus will remain with hiking group at Horseshoe bend and regroup everybody together at the Marina).

Depart with hikers and return to the Antelope Point Marina to join those who did not make the hike.

Arrive at Antelope Point Marina and enjoy a happy hour drink.

Arrive at Red Heritage Cultural Experience which includes dinner.

Cultural Experience Show begins (Details pending) After a day spent exploring the scenic Canyons, Lakes and Rivers of the Glen Canyon Recreation Area, enjoy a great dinner and show that is both entertaining and educational. Red Heritage Indigenous Entertainment Halls offers Authentic Native American Cuisine and traditional Hoop Dancing performed by Local Native Americans.

Return to Hotel in Tuba City. Enjoy the evening relaxing after a long day of walking exploring such beautiful locations in Arizona.

Arrive at Designated location and meet Buck Wild Hummer tours outside of the East entrance of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy a box lunch overlooking the South rim.

After dinner, depart to Sky Harbor Airport for your flight home
