As you get ready for this trip, we would like to offer a few gentle reminders of the following:
PASSPORT:
It is essential for your passport to maintain at least six months of validity past the return date (expiration date of May 7, 2026, or later) and must have at least four (4) blank pages.
VISA:
While a visa is not obligatory for traveling to South Africa, Botswana, or Seychelles, it is imperative to note that a visa is required for visiting Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), and this can only be acquired upon arrival in Zimbabwe.
U.S. citizens embarking on tourism-related visits to Zimbabwe can anticipate a fee of $30 for a 30-day/single-entry visa and $45 for a 45-day/double-entry visa.
Please be aware that all provided details and charges are subject to change without prior notification. We recommend settling payments in cash in USD for your convenience.
For Seychelles, no visa is required, however all travelers are required a Travel Authorization (TA). There's a fee of around $10. You can apply for a TA online or through their website: https://seychelles.govtas.com/en You can also download the Seychelles e-Border app on your phone and apply through the app.
Complete the Seychelles Travel Authorization 30 days before departure. The reviewing process may take up to 24 hours before validation. You will not be able to travel if your application has not been approved by the time of your departure.
IMMUNIZATIONS:
For your travels to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Seychelles no mandatory immunizations are required. Nevertheless, it is recommended to consider taking anti-malaria medication as a precautionary measure.
