This January we covered:

• Payment Gateways

• Payment Schedule Mode
  • Dynamic vs Percentage vs Fixed
    • Chip Away <— good to mix with your standard schedule to allow for variations
  • Percentage is a % of the total due - AND those installments don’t roll off
    • Catchup payments
    • Past Due - now showing to planners
  • Dynamic - good for monthly: remaining due after deposit split evenly across the remaining number of installments
    • Ignore any installments that are BEFORE the payment of the deposit
    • When price goes up that the amounts change evenly across installments
    • Apply a manual payments split evenly - when they don’t owe the same amount, don’t split evenly (fix coming in future update)
• Advanced Payments
  • Diverged 
    • When things go wonky, we may not know the right “next installment” - this is usually the planners mistake/misunderstanding
      • Overpaid -> pushes to balance
        • Chip Away still available
      • Skipped -> pushes to balance (George Carlin)
        • Fix this by changing the allocation
        • Partial manual payments (you can do them now - could not in the past)
  • Paid in Full
    • previously the price increased for all installments
    • Now if an installment WAS “paid in full” it remains that way
    • That does mean the amounts change - so if you don’t like the idea of the installment amounts changing, use FIXED
• Direct payments
  • Ability to set label on Mark Received
• Transferred payments
