Nourishment for Body & Soul
Your retreat experience will be supported by gourmet meals prepared with love by Lotus Chefs, a Maui-based culinary team renowned for vibrant, nourishing cuisine.
Each day, you’ll enjoy locally sourced, seasonal dishes crafted to energize your body, delight your senses, and ground you in the lush abundance of the island. Meals are designed to be both nutrient-rich and sensually satisfying, reflecting the Tantric principle of honoring the body as sacred.
Lotus Chefs specializes in farm-to-table menus highlighting fresh island produce, tropical fruits, wholesome grains, and locally inspired flavors. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
✨ Most meals are included, with the exception of one dinner during our Wailea excursion — an opportunity to explore Maui’s vibrant local food scene.

Travel Tips

Flights: Book flights into Kahului Airport (OGG). To join the group shuttle on Feb 10, please arrive before 1:30 pm. For departure on Feb 15, plan flights after 1:30 pm to align with shuttle times.

Airport Transfers: Group shuttles are included. Pick-ups from OGG to Hale Akua are at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on arrival day. Return shuttles from Hale Akua to OGG are at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm on departure day.

Packing: Bring light, breathable clothing, a swimsuit, sarong, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection. A journal, water bottle, and a shawl or wrap for evening rituals are also recommended.

Weather: The past few winters in Maui have been warmer than usual. Expect daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to high 80s (°F). Evenings can be cooler at Hale Akua’s elevation, so pack a light sweater for comfort.

Optional Extras: Free time is built into the retreat. You may wish to book a massage, healing session, or explore nearby beaches and towns during those spacious windows.
