This is an incredibly unique trip in the way that we will explore Thailand via ground transportation. Most tourists use air travel to get from one destination to the next in Thailand, however you will see Thailand in a way that is RARELY explored by other travelers.
Traveling from Bangkok to Krabi via ground transportation will allow us to be immersed in local culture along the way, explore National Parks, see a multitude of unique markets and experience mouth-watering local food.
With 2 local guides and 2 wellness guides, you will have the perfect balance of being infused with the vibrancy of Thailand, while being given practices to further reconnect with your deeper self.

What's an overland tour you ask? It's an incredibly unique and special way to see Thailand. While most tourists travel Thailand by air, flying to their next destination, we will be driving from location to location. This is an experience and an itinerary that you won't find elsewhere! Visit the natural beauty of ‘off-the-beaten-path’ national parks, spectacular tropical scenery and wildlife, traditional culture, and an abundance of time to spend in solitude or with each other amongst the awe-inspiring vistas.
This trip is the perfect combination of adventure and leisure time. Experience the aliveness and vibrancy that is Thailand, while remaining grounded and nurtured with wellness practices led by our two experienced wellness guides. Arriving in Thailand just after the completion of the Songkran water festival, the trip will focus on a fresh start. During this water festival, water is doused upon each other as a blessing, to wash away and purify negativity. Focus on your mindfulness in a spiritually rich and deep environment.
From the bustling and colorful markets of Bangkok to the world-renowned white sandy beaches and islands of southern Thailand, you’ll explore the vivid essence of national parks and landmarks rarely seen and visited by tourists. Get to Know Me
Q: What's your favorite book?
A: My favorite book is Sacred Spaces by Denise Lin. I received it by mistake instead of another book I ordered when I was just starting my healing journey 6 years ago - its powerfully aligned with my own practices now and I come back to it often. My space is def Sacred now!
Q: What are your favorite self-care practices?
A: Those who know me know the answer to this: A bath! I add a candle and some epsom salts, its a sure way to invite the healing power of the elements as well as wash away whatever is no longer serving me.
Q: What's your favorite place to travel and why?
A: This is always a hard question! I will have to say Medellin, Colombia, though, because that is where most of my family still lives and because there is true magic in this Andean city of eternal spring. Other than that, I am a waterfall chaser - always looking to explore that life force energy around our world.

Meet Your Wellness Guide Katie Friedman
About Katie
My name is Katie. I have called Denver home for the better part of the last decade, but I spent the most recent 3 years traveling around the world and living in Bali, which I now consider a second home. I have been to 30 countries, most of which I have traveled solo. I missed the mountains when I was away, but you can usually find me close to anywhere that is connected to nature.
I love to garden, go camping in the mountains, and I am newly learning how to ride horses. What I love most is getting to know people and their stories. It energizes and inspires me to be around people that are willing to let me in and share their world with me. For me, every day is a gift. And that gift is most alive when it is shared.

Q: What's your favorite place to travel and why?
A: My favorite place to travel is SE Asia! I have spent the most time of all my travels all over SE Asia including several years in Bali where I lived for several years. SE Asia has some of the most incredible food, a rich history, a colorful culture, and an ease of travel that I have not experienced in other travel destinations.

Venture by bike with your fellow adventure seekers beyond the bustling city streets and through the narrow alleyways in the heart of Chinatown to Thonburi, the old capital of Thailand. Be greeted with inquisitive and radiant smiles while allowing your senses to come alive with the sights, sounds and scents of the city.
Pass through shophouses filled with Buddhist amulets, clothing, cultural decor, antiques, one of a kind trinkets, accessories, toys and more. Observe ritual paper burnings and local worshiping at hidden temples. Cross the Chao Phraya River to Thonburi with the majestic city skyline on the horizon. Pedal past mosques, temples, churches and sacred sites in this gloriously diverse community before returning to River City. Total ride is approximately 12km, over three hours.

This is one of the most unique and iconic scenes for visitors to Thailand as you meander through the wet market and learn about the variety of delectables on display.
Continue by car for approximately 25 minutes to your next visit, the largest and most colorful floating market in the Kingdom “Damnoen Saduak.” Spend a couple of hours wandering and sampling goods before taking a ride on a traditional long-tailed boat along the narrow canals.
Thereafter, you’ll head to Hua Hin (approx. 132 km = 2 hours) and check in at the hotel while having the afternoon at your leisure.
