Welcome to our 9-day Land-based Wellness Journey

Our retreat is a blend of yoga, meditation and breathwork classes from Kundalini yoga paired with Indigenous practices of connecting with the land, sea and air.  We practice daily in a beautiful location surrounded by raw and rugged nature. You will enjoy eating wild and local healthy food in a community with like-minded people. Each day offers sunrise and sunset experiences and plenty of time to relax and explore the surroundings. You’ll have the opportunity to see ocean life and pick wild berries and if that’s not enough, we will hold a safe space to support you in your recovery and health and wellness journey.

This experience is an invitation for remembrance, a recommitment to the path, and an opportunity to be fully present with a group of people on the path of recovery. It is an opportunity to help bring your recovery to a new level. The goal of this retreat is to learn tools and forge friendships that can last a lifetime.

Daphne March (the owner) is in recovery herself and on a path of discovery, and it is with great pride and joy that she invites you to share this experience with others. Newfoundland and Labrador is an extraordinary setting that will provide us will a deeply nurturing and unforgettable experience together. It will be an opportunity to reflect on our personal mission in life and give us the tools to move forward in our recovery.

Join your group of like-minded people in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. You will be picked up at the airport, Deer Lake Motel or the Holiday Inn between 8-9 am for our departure to Gros Morne.

As our bus drives up to Gros Morne National Park we encourage you to enjoy the scenery of the boreal forest and look out for moose and caribou. Your local guide, Daphne, will lead our Western Brook Pond four-hour experience. Western Brook Pond is a lake located in Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of the island. Expect to see an abundance of wildlife, waterfalls, billion years old cliffs, and beautiful views all around.

After our evening meal, we will gather for a sacred circle before heading back to our rooms to rest for the night. The opening of the circle begins with gentle energetic practices. After this is complete we will meditate and be open and receptive to whatever our body is telling us while enjoying the silence.

Our recommendation is to make sure you are seaside to fully enjoy the sunset and watch as it beautifully drops into the ocean.

This place brings solitude, healing, peacefulness, and the quiet needed to make a change, it helps remove fear, connect with the mother moon, and feel nurtured and safe.

(Day 8) - The wonders of Arches Provincial Park

After breakfast and our morning Sādhanā, we drive south for our return to Newfoundland.

We will take the 10.30 am crossing from Blanc Sadlon to St.Barbe. Once we arrive we will drive a few hours before stopping at the Arches Provincial Park. Here you can view bone white and beautiful tuckamore and take a path that leads to the rocky beach below, where you can spot an awe-inspiring rock formation. Composed of Ordovician aged dolomitic conglomerate, the porous arches have been eroded by thousands of years of sea wave action. Originally numbering four, one arch has completely collapsed. The remaining three stand strong but will eventually succumb to time and tide.

After our evening meal, we will gather for a sacred circle before heading back to our rooms to rest for the night. The opening of the circle begins with gentle energetic practices. After this is complete we will meditate and be open and receptive to whatever our body is telling us while enjoying the silence.
