Our Summer edition is back!
Once again, La Grange & Sundays are excited to invite you to Feast and Forest - Unwind. After holding the inaugural experiences in 2022, we are beyond excited to continue its journey into 2023. Unwind is our slower paced retreat, where we hike through the forest and use our mind and heart as the focal medium to explore. Expect a slower pace, mindfully moving through each moment in a group setting.
Set on La Grange’s 16th century farm surrounded by 30 hectares of horse roaming fields, awaiting you is a combination of cooking workshops, creative writing classes, pool swims, yoga in the barn and forest explorations.

Joining Information
Friday 10 am 21st July Rennes Train Station - Exact meeting spot will be communicated in the days prior.
Optional - Please select the optional extra if you wish to have a pre night of accomodation at the Farm on the 20th July.
Departing Information
Monday 24th July - Please organise travel for after 12:30pm from Rennes.
For this adventure, we will gather at Saint-Jean, founded in the 13th Century by the Templars and passed through many hands and generations since, this home away from home is where Anouk and her family grew up. Anouk's mum, Christine now runs the Lusitanian stud-farm at Saint Jean and aims to breathe new air into Saint Jean as it develops into its next chapter.
There will be plenty of time to relax and retreat into your own corner of the house or wander around the farm.
A bit about William in his own words. he will kindly translate the stories from Breton to English for us.
"Lors de votre stage, william, vous proposera une veillée de tradition orale. Dernier lauréat du prestigieux concours de la Bogue d’or à Redon et locuteur du breton et du gallo, les deux (autres) langues de Bretagne, il aime en émailler les contées avec les chants du Pays pour faire résonner les rêves de nos anciens et nourrir ceux à venir. A chacun lors de ses moments partagés de retrouver son héritage d’ici ou d’ailleurs."
Throughout the weekend we will take time to explore and unwind in doing so. Therefore we will be moving gently with intention throughout the farm and as we explore.
We will use Hiking as our chosen method of exploring the forest and nearby rolling hills around the farm.
We will be guided through our yoga and meditation practice throughout the weekend.
Good friend of the farm Bella Hayward, will be in residency throughout the weekend. We can't wait to delve into her practice and learn from her varied experiences in using yoga as a form of connection.
We will use yoga as a form of reflection and also a time to set our intentions for the day.
We will practice in the newly refurbished barn. Please bring your own mat if possible, if not please let us know.
A chance to nourish our bodies with a menu specifically designed to benefit our bodies and give us the nutrients we need to enjoy the outdoors.
Resident cook and heart throb, Gregoire, will prepare delicious meals for us throughout the weekend, as well as take us through the skills needed to make a Breton Gallette. Moments around the farm table to appreciate local produce in both new and ancient ways.
