Day 2: Canyon or abseiling - express interest! (depending on interest)
Feeling adventurous? If you're interested in a thrilling option, tick off the optional box and enquire!
Option 1: Canyon - no abseiling
A fantastic half day canyon with no abseiling. This half day adventure involves descending the canyon and returning via the same route - great for beginners and those who love the water but aren't a fan of heights. The action packed Empress Canyon has scrambling, wading, swimming and some great jumping - but the best part is climbing back up the waterfalls you launched down. The walk out is short and steep, 25 minutes up the stairs and you’re back at the carpark.
Option 2: Introductory abseiling for beginners
A morning or afternoon session, a half day abseil experience is an easy way to get a taste for abseiling. Start small on our beginners block with a series of 3 metre abseils to hone your skills before you move on to longer, higher and more exciting drops. Learn techniques to tackle varying abseil terrain, progressing up to about 30 metres.
Yellow Deli Cafe - chai or hot chocolate
After a busy day in the mountains, we visit this mystical café Yellow Deli - famous for serving delicious home-cooked meals in a "Middle Earth" inspired setting by a fireplace.
Return to Sydney
After a wholesome trip away, we head back to Sydney, and depending on how tired we are - have a sing-a-long or a snooze!
You will be returning to Turramurra Station 4.30pm or Brookvale 5.30-6pm.
