Travengers AU x The A-List x LEGO® Foundation = Legendary!

Spend 2 days and 1 night in the beautiful Blue Mountains, feeling like you're miles and miles away from the city. Start the day with a road trip and a LEGO® play day!
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people over LEGO®, as well as getting out in nature and building independence. Get hot chocolate in a Middle-Earth inspired café and see some of the best view points in the Blue Mountains.

Day 1: Making our way to Katoomba

We meet at a set meeting point in the morning, say hi to our group, and make our way to Katoomba.

You will be going together by car.

Meet: Coles parking Turramurra 10.00am

LEGO workshop

First stop, a LEGO therapy & socialise session!

Location: Blaxland Community Centre

Exploring the nature of the Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains have plenty of stunning walks to choose from. We can't go there without getting a bit of that tranquil feeling.

- Drive to Cahill's Lookout in Katoomba for a beautiful view welcoming you to Blue Mountains!
- Drive to the Lincoln Rock Lookout, and take photos together.

- Visit Wentforth Falls for a beautiful track (note: this track has steep stairs, and rails).

Check out one of the epic lookouts in the Blue Mountains, overlooking the dramatic valleys. Take photos and hang with your group. Hopefully not as foggy as on our last trip (pictured)!

After a busy day, we visit this mystical café Yellow Deli - famous for serving delicious home-cooked meals in a "Middle Earth" inspired setting by a fireplace.

Explore the Blue Mountains

Go on a hike and explore more of the Blue Mountains!

Trek: Echo Point to the Three Sisters: 1 kms, 45min return. Has steps.

Return to Sydney

After a wholesome trip away, we head back to Sydney, and depending on how tired we are - have a sing-a-long or a snooze!

You will be returning to the same Coles car park as the pick up between 4:30pm and 5pm.

HOW TO REGISTER/BOOK:

Register by clicking "Book Now" and follow the prompts. When bookings are open, select your package and pay your deposit to keep your spot. Please sect the right package based on your travel needs.

Deposit: $338.00

Remaining: $1,012.00

Total cost you claim from the NDIS: $1,012.00

The cost is within NDIS price guidelines, and you should be able to use your NDIS funds for the full amount.

Self-managed:
When it's open for bookings, simply go to the $ invoice tab, choose package, and pay your deposit.

You will get a reminder when you need to pay the rest of the cost.
Claim back from NDIS afterwards.

Plan managed:
Ask your plan manager if you can spend your funding on this trip. Once confirmed, pay the deposit and claim back when we send you your receipt.
We will then send the outstanding invoice to your plan manager.

We will cater for some food allergies or vegetarians if you specify your dietary requirements in the Traveller Profile. You will be asked to fill a Traveller Profile when booking.

NOT INCLUDED:

Insurance: It is highly recommended you have travel insurance. Travengers’ travel insurance does not cover travellers. Make sure your insurance covers you for your needs and activities and any health conditions you may have.

Drinks: Alcohol, drinks, morning tea/afternoon tea and other snacks is not included in the price.

Transport to meeting point: Transport to/from meeting point is not included.
