Swim or cruise through the spectacular Great Barrier Reef, spotting colourful fish and coral in a setting like no other. Then ride the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway through lush rainforest and waterfalls, followed by the breathtaking Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. We’ll explore the unique village of Kuranda with its local markets, wildlife, and culture.
This trip is designed for young autistic and neurodivergent adults aged 18–35, with the right support to help you feel comfortable, grow, and have fun. Whether it’s your first time travelling without family or you’re looking to grow your confidence in a group, we’ve got your back.

Time to get excited for your trip to Cairns - a tropical paradise where the rainforest meets the reef, and is the only place in the world where two world heritage-listed sites can be found side-by-side.
We will fly from your chosen airport - times will be confirmed.

Once we arrive into Cairns, we will take our transfer to the accommodation for check in. You will be staying in an apartment or Airbnb with your group, creating opportunities to build independence, cook, and build stronger bonds.

After you’ve had ample time to explore the area, head to the Botanical Gardens for a boardwalk through the fascinating tall trees.

We will visit a nearby grocery store for some BBQ ingredients before returning to the accommodation to cook up a delicious meal!

Today we're going to Fitzroy Island! We'll take the 8am ferry and once we arrive at the island, we'll get a chance to explore the island, go on a snorkel experience and have lunch. We'll leave at 4pm.Â

After a great day exploring, we'll enjoy preparing and cooking a meal together at our AirBnB.Â
The Daintree Rainforest is the oldest surviving rainforest in the world and is home to some rare and unique wildlife. It is also a UNESCO world heritage site due to its evolutionary significance and exceptional natural beauty as one of the only places in the world where the rainforest meets coral beaches.

Visit Port Douglas, a popular little holiday destination with beautiful scenery. Grab a coffee or just take a stroll and some shots, before continuing your journey!
On Day 4, get our bags packed in the morning. Afterwards, we will check out of the accommodation, and spend the last day in Cairns visiting the Daintree Rainforest before heading to the airport for our flights home.Â

- Optional: Visit the Butterfly sanctuary or Koala gardens (~$20pp, tickets are not included but can be bought at the door)
