Melbourne & Great Ocean Road

We drive through the surf town Torquay and continue to Bells Beach, famous for its surf competition. Watch some surfers ride the waves from the view point, or walk down the steps to the stunning beach yourself. 

10 minutes away is Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie. We browse the shop, and might get some snacks for the road! 

After we stop for views and some good photos at Split Point Lighthouse at Aireys Inlet.

On the first day we connect at our meeting points and get our hire car in Melbourne. It’s time for our adventure!

Next stop is the popular holiday town Lorne. We grab a good lunch here before we continue to Apollo Bay.

On the way we stop by Kennett River, one of the best spots to see wild Koalas (fingers crossed!).

Lastly we check in at our accommodation, have some food and enjoy our night in Apollo Bay. On our first night, we stay at the YHA Apollo Bay hostel for a young vibe (sharing room only with your group. For private room, email us for expression of interest).

We spend the day in the Great Otway National Park, visiting the Californian Redwood Forest and chasing waterfalls.

If we’re feeling courageous we go for an elevated treetop walk in the Otway Fly Treetop Adventure park, or even zip lining!

We will check into our new accomodation in Port Campbell (details coming). This is our base the next 2 nights!

Today we will cruise along and see all the famous stops along the Great Ocean Road, London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge beach and of course, The Twelve Apostles! We will take endless photos and videos, so bring your best smile!

Next we will enjoy a stop at Timboon Fine Ice Cream where they have a huge selection of flavours.

In the afternoon we will fit in Bay of Islands and the Grotto. 

Today we start our way back to home. The trip is over but we have loads of pictures, videos and memories along back home.
