Overview

Get down to nature and explore new areas a few hours north of Sydney!

Stay in a beautiful house, nestled in the trees right by the lake. Nearby both beach and bush, and surrounded by rainforest walks, this place has something for everyone.

Drive to Mid North Coast

Meeting point: We'll pick you up at your homes around 11.30am. Then we'll start the drive up, and stop at Guzman & Gomez for lunch on the way!

Afternoon Walk

Price : n/a

This afternoon you have two options:

1. You can take some time to just relax and enjoy the view from the balcony

2. Go for a 10-15 minute walk through the Red Head Rainforest Reserve the rainforest checking out the small local beach along the way

Read Head Rainforest Walk which encompasses striking coastal landforms as well as rare tracts of littoral rainforest: a must for nature lovers and keen photographers.

Dinner

Option 1: We'll go out to Hallidays Point Tavern (https://www.hallidayspointtavern.com.au) for some dinner, before heading back to enjoy the rest of the night at our accommodation.

Option 2: Stay in for an enjoyable night learning how to make your own pizza's

Cooking breakfast

Learn how to cook some breakfast by making some pancakes or bacon and eggs.

Surf lesson

This morning we will head to The Big Buzz Fun Park, Where you can choose from a range of activities from Go Carts, Laser Tag, Toboggan Run, Jumbo Slide, Waterslides, Putt Putt Golf, Disk Golf, Target Golf, Carts, bikes and much more!

Lunch

We'll have some lunch after the morning activities. You will learn how to make your own sandwich, roll and warp.

Beachfront Rainforest Walk & Lookout

After lunch lets explore the area by going on a walk through the Rainforest Nature Walk along the Black Head Beach. Once you reach the end of the beach (Near the surf club) we will take a quick walk up to explore a whale watching platform that offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Here we can take a break to relax, listen to the waves and take in the view.

After exploring the whale watching platform, We will start our walk back along the beach finishing off with an optional swim in the ocean.

Relaxing afternoon

When we get back from our walk we will take some time to relax at the accommodation. This time can be spent watching a movie, chatting with a friend, reading a book or even just taking in your surroundings.

BBQ Dinner

Learn how to cook a BBQ dinner on the grill

Board game or movie night

Tonight is board game night! We'll have a lot of fun playing some of the all-time favourite or new board games.

Breakfast and packing

This morning we will have a simple breakfast and pack our bags before heading down the coast back to Sydney.
We will need to be checked out by 10:00am

Drive back to Sydney

We will now be making our way back to Sydney, with new memories, photos and connections on board.

Finish Point 1: Approx 6:00pm Turramurra Coles (outside)

Finish Point 2: Approx 7:00pm Warringah Mall B-Line bus stop (Mall side)

Wildlife park and Wyong Milk Factory

On the way back we'll stop to do either a hike, wildlife park or treetops park - tell us if you have a preference!

HOW TO REGISTER/BOOK:

The cost is within NDIS price guidelines, and you should be able to use your NDIS funds for the full amount.

Self-managed:
When it's open for bookings, simply go to the $ invoice tab, choose package, and pay your deposit.

You will get a reminder when you need to pay the rest of the cost.
Claim back from NDIS afterwards.

Plan managed:
Ask your plan manager if you can spend your funding on this trip. Once confirmed, pay the deposit and claim back when we send you your receipt.
We will then send the outstanding invoice to your plan manager.

Accommodation: All accommodation included. Price based on shared sleeping arrangements. (If single room is required you can request this for an additional fee).

Inclusions: All main meals (except where stated), local transport, support guides, entrance fees/activities etc.

Flights: Not applicable for this trip.

We will cater for some food allergies or vegetarians if you specify your dietary requirements in the Traveller Profile. You will be asked to fill a Traveller Profile when booking.

NOT INCLUDED:

Insurance: It is highly recommended you have travel insurance. Travengers’ travel insurance does not cover travellers. Make sure your insurance covers you for your needs and activities and any health conditions you may have.

Drinks: Alcohol, drinks, morning tea/afternoon tea and other snacks is not included in the price.

Transport to meeting point: Transport to/from meeting point is not included.
