Day 1 - Road Trip to the Hunter Valley

Now we've met everyone, it's time to fire up Google Maps, Spotify and hit the open road in our hire car.

Stop for Lunch

Next, we take a moment to stretch the legs, get some fresh air and grab a bite to eat

Afternoon Activity - Go Karting (optional)

Go Karts Go is have the biggest 4-stroke outdoor go kart track and the fastest 4-stroke karts in the whole of the Hunter Valley region. Start your engines!

We check-in at our accommodation in the Hunter Valley. You will be in Airbnbs (1 or 2 depending on group size).

After deciding together what to get for dinner, and grocery shopping, we help each other out cooking a nice meal to have around the table and set some goals we'd like to achieve for 2023

Say farewell to 2022 on the banks of the picturesque Hunter River at Maitland New Year’s Eve, proudly presented by PRD Hunter Valley.

Day 2 - Cook Breakfast Together

Get up for sunrise or sleep in a little longer, before cooking brekkie with your crew!

(You'll be able to tell the guides what you like/don't like for breakfast when you go shopping the day before).

The aim of the game is to hit a golf ball into the lake in front of you. If your ball lands in the floating target net you win a prize!

Support Guide/guides, main meals, transport, accommodation and activities.

~1:3 or 1:4 support ratio.

NOT INCLUDED:

Travel Insurance

Snack, drinks and pocket money are not included.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:

We can cater for dietary requirements if you specify your dietary requirements when you fill your Traveller Profile

HOW TO REGISTER/BOOK:

Register by clicking "Express interest" and follow the prompts. When bookings are open, pay your deposit to keep your spot!

Deposit is 25% of the total cost: $567

Remaining: $1701

Self-managed:
When it's open for bookings, simply go to the $ invoice tab, choose package, and pay your deposit.

You will get a reminder when you need to pay the rest of the cost.
Claim back from NDIS afterwards.

Plan managed:
Ask your plan manager if you can spend your funding on this trip. Once confirmed, pay the deposit and claim back when we send you your receipt.
We will then send the outstanding invoice to your plan manager.

The NDIS price guide for 3 days weekend and public holiday STA is $3700.

Provided for you to participate in the community and activities of choice, try new things, build skills, practice independence, and to have respite from your informal supports.

Don't want to use up your NDIS funding? You can choose to do a co-payment of some of the costs, to make your NDIS funds last longer.

If you are self-funded you can simply do this by claiming less of the full cost.
