Online Travel Training Program - Learn to plan, book and navigate the complexities of travel! 🌍✈️
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Travel Program, now launching on the 1st of July, designed to support autistic individuals in building confidence and independence when travelling.
The program addresses common fears and challenges associated with travel, provides practical “know-how” tips, and offers guidance on important things to prepare for and consider before travelling. Participants will also learn practical strategies for both solo and group travel experiences, helping make travel more accessible, enjoyable, and empowering.
This program will guide you through:
- Understanding common travel worries
- Choosing your destination and conducting research
- Solo travel and group travel
- Things to consider when planning or booking travel
- Travel insurance
- Travel research
- Bookings
- Health and safety
- Packing
- Planning local transport and budget to maximise your travel experience
- Gaining valuable tips and tricks tailored for autistic or neurodivergent travellers
Get ready to learn more about travel planning, and gain greater insight and confidence to help you on your independence journey. It's also a great way to connect and learn with like-minded people during the program.
