Every day you will take part in preparing our plant-based HIGH VIBE breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks together with Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Plant-Based Nutrition Educator, Naomi Green, to learn and practice cooking & prepping techniques, cook new recipes and live a delicious, bountiful whole food plant-based lifestyle the entire week! This way, you get some new food skills under your belt and you leave with all the plant-based recipes we prepared together so you can continue this lifestyle deliciously, the healthy way, at home!

Vegan Villakulla is an air-conditioned 2-story, eco-friendly structure built in tropical Belize style just 202 steps from your door to the sandy water's edge of the Caribbean Sea. The top floor consists of a large, specially designed open-concept GROUP COOKING KITCHEN & CAFE with an adjacent OUTDOOR YOGA/RELAXATION VERANDA for 10 with a Palm Thatch "Palapa" covering. The ground floor consists of 4 PRIVATE ROOMS that each sleep 2 with a private bathroom, private air-conditioning and private entrance. There is also a DOWNSTAIRS OUTDOOR VERANDA with seating for relaxation.
Couples can choose a king room or singles share a room with 2 single beds.
Two of the rooms open to the ground floor Veranda, available first-come/first serve upon request!
Naomi & David are the owners and creators of Vegan Villakulla in Placencia, Belize, and left the US in June 2021 for Belize permanently to open this Vegan Cooking & Adventure Retreat Center where like-minded souls could get away together for food and fun.
Naomi Green is a certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Plant-Based Nutrition Educator who specializes in helping people adopt a whole food plant-based no oil way of eating to experience serious weight loss and measurable health results. She has been coaching private clients and running an insanely successful 12-Week Online Plant Power Weight Loss & Health Transformation group program and a free global online Facebook support group for those going vegan for health, since recovering from breast cancer treatment in 2014 and she credits both yoga and going vegan for all the reasons with her health, healing and her happiness.
David Mannino began his love affair with hiking and outdoor adventures as a boy scout in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Since then, his love for outdoor adventure has only grown culminating in a recent rim-to-rim hike through the Grand Canyon...and he's never going to stop walking! Since then, he has been exploring US National and State Park trails far and wide and now the jungles and mountains of Belize, always exploring veganism wherever he goes and leading those around him down the path as well!
FIRST, You will fly from your nearest INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to Philip S. Goldson International Airport in Belize City, Belize.
Currently, Delta, United, American and Frontier Airlines fly both direct 1-stop flights from most international city airports in the US and non-stop flights from Orlando, Miami, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Denver. In addition, Frontier currently flies non stop from Orlando on Saturdays only and back to Orlando on Saturday as well so this is a great and affordable option if you are traveling from Florida. Check all airlines as flights and schedules are constantly changing!
NEXT, You will book a Round-trip puddle jumper on Maya Air or Tropic Air from Philip S. Goldson International Airport in Belize City to Placencia (our retreat center location) for around $200 which flies many times throughout the day. Choose the next closest flight time for an hour after/before your arrival to the airport. We will pick you up and drop you off at the airport in Placencia - 5 minutes from the retreat location!
We have built in several structured group relaxation experiences to include Gentle Stretching Sessions, Visualizing & Manifesting Meditations, Driftwood Spinner Art Project for rainy afternoon and a Releasing Fire Ceremony as well as plenty of unstructured time to schedule a massage (fee added), to walk the beach, lounge around, wander down the sidewalk around the village, take a nap or journal!
Stopping at the SPICE FARM TASTING TOUR first and then our picnic lunch and then on to explore this ancient Mayan site, NIM LI PUNIT deep in the Jungle which is an active archeological excavation site!
