Instead of posting up at a retreat center, join a diverse group of fun loving travelers as we fully immerse ourselves in the food, culture, traditions and adventures that make Cambodia one of Earth's most precious gems.
We have made arrangements for each traveler to take the covid test that is required to fly home in the comfort of your hotel room. It is a short, easy process and we have handled all the details for you! We will have a virtual meeting with all travelers prior to the travel dates so you feel prepared, informed and relaxed for this trip of a life time.
This afternoon we will host a welcome meeting at the hotel to introduce you to your fellow travelers and go over the plans for the week ahead. Our welcome meetings are always a lot of fun. Champagne & smiles will kick off our first official day in Siem Reap!
In the evening, travel by tuk tuk to three of Siem Reaps most highly rated restaurants where we will have a special introduction to Khmer cuisine. This luxury Food Tasting Tour is the perfect introduction to the culture and traditions of the area.

Today we will visit the village which is supported by Shinta Mani Hotel to gain a better understanding of the foundations work to support the community's social development. A portion of your stay goes towards providing wells for safe drinking water to this area.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to the beautiful countryside, away from tourist areas to learn about life in local villages. A local family will show us how they produce food, handicrafts and weaving. You may even go for a 30 minute ox cart ride to feel the fresh air on the way to a local market for exploring!

Experience the epic sunrise over Angkor Wat with Private Champagne Picnic Breakfast. Exclusive for our group. Throughout the day we will have a private guided tour of 3 of the main temples of Angkor Wat.
After lunch, enjoy a gondola boat ride to view the glorious ancient ruins just at sunset.

Today we will have an up close and personal experience with the precious elephants of Cambodia. This sanctuary is a place for elephants that were once working in harsh conditions to retire, heal and be cared for in their natural habitat. You will have the opportunity to feed them fruits, give a snuggle and get lots of selfies. This is a day you will cherish forever.
On the way back from the sanctuary we can stop in a local community for a Palm Wine tasting and we'll have the opportunity to see Banteay Srei, the famous pink sandstone temple known as "Citadel of the Women." It is one of the most intricate stone carvings in the world.

Enjoy the day at your leisure. This evening we will attend a performance of Phare. The circus was developed by young returnees from refugee camps who learned about using art as a means of coping with devastation. This circus has played an influential role in preserving and developing Khmer culture over recent years.
After the show, we will enjoy a dinner together at a local restaurant.

Following the ( optional ) morning cooking class, we wanted to leave you plenty of time to experience the incredible spas of Cambodia during your stay. We have an upscale spa located inside our hotel and there are TONS of local spas to explore all in walking distance from our hotel too. We will provide you with a list of suggested places to try as well as suggestions for the best restaurants and cafes in the area.
This day alone, is worth the plane ride to get here! You'll be floating in Zen in no time.

Optional Add On Activity: Your cooking class starts with a morning visit to one of the old markets, also known as the Psa Chas. Our Executive Chef will guide you through the market and teach you all about the local produce and herbs for the class. If you've never been to an Asian market, you are in for a real treat!
Following the visit to the market, guests will return to the hotel and start the class in a private space of our trendy restaurant. Each participant will receive a cook book featuring the four traditional Khmer dishes that will be created during the class.

Optional Add On Activity : Not keen to explore on your own? Join your Private Guide for a special walking tour of Siem Reap. Begin at the Shrine to Ya Tep: a sandstone image believed by locals to contain the spirit of Ya Tep, a neak ta (ancestral spirit) that is believed by locals to protect the town of Siem Reap.
Then visit a local palm reader and learn what the future holds!
Continue onwards and learn about Spirit Houses, which are common in Buddhist countries across Southeast Asia.
Visit The Royal Crusade for Independence Gardens & other famous city landmarks.
Finish the walking tour along the riverside opposite Psar Chas, the Old Market. Along the riverside are a number of stalls selling various street foods, including fruit smoothies, noodle soup, and roti pancakes. Grab a snack if you wish, enjoy a stroll around the market or ask your guide to hail a remork to return to the hotel.
This is the perfect opportunity to experience Siem Reap with a local. Move at your on pace and visit only the things that interest you.

Join Michelle Ruiz for a special morning yoga class in the Elephant Garden, a tranquil space on our hotel grounds. She will guide us through a special "farewell ceremony" to reflect on our beautiful journey together.
In the afternoon, visit Artisans d'Angkor, Old Market and Riverside markets for shoppers delight! Spend as much time as you like choosing the perfect local souvenirs to bring home to your loved ones.
We left this day pretty relaxed so that you can enjoy dinner and pack for tomorrow's travels.

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Siem Reap International Airport ( REM ) and your airport representative will be waiting to assist you to board your flight home or on to your next destination.
