VIVE EXCLUSIVE: ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISA & COVID REQUIREMENTS DONE FOR YOU

We will pre-arrange your Tourist Visa that is required for United States citizens to enter Egypt. All costs are included in your trip so you don't have to even think about it.

We will let you know if there are any covid requirements for entering Egypt when we get closer to our departure date. As of right now, there are no covid regulations for entering Egypt.

In the case that they begin to require tests again : We have made arrangements for each traveler to take the covid test that is required to fly home in the comfort of your hotel room. It is a short, easy process and we have handled all the details for you! We will have a virtual meeting with all travelers prior to the travel dates so you feel prepared, informed and relaxed for this trip of a life time.

Day 1 - Arrival Day

Location : The St. Regis Cairo، Nile Corniche, Boulaq Num.5, Bulaq, Egypt
Arrive in Cairo. You will be greeted by our team and have a personal assistant to walk you through customs, the entry visa process and baggage claim. Our driver will take you in a private vehicle to the luxurious St. Regis Hotel in Downtown Cairo.

Enjoy a warm shower, cozy bed, good meal and rest up for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 - Welcome Meeting + Felucca Ride on the Nile River

Breakfast at your leisure. Sleep in or enjoy the gym, pool and spa. This afternoon, Michelle + Nelson will host a welcome / orientation meeting where you will get to meet our fellow travelers and learn all about the trip plans for the week.

Our signature welcome meetings are always a ton of fun...and yes, champagne is involved!

Following our welcome meeting, we will celebrate our first night in Cairo together on board a local boat for a peaceful sail along  the legendary Nile River. This will be our first taste of delicious local cuisine paired with cocktails and lots of  smiles.

We will return to our hotel for a good nights rest and sweet dreams in the evening.  Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day 3 - The Great Pyramids of Giza, Camel Trek, Lunch with Locals

Today is a day many of us have dreamed about since we were kids. We will set out to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza. Our certified Egyptologist will give us an inside look at the fascinating background of these ancient Wonders of the World. Then we will take a camel trek through the desert to get some epic photos and to visit the Great Sphinx. ( If you prefer not to camel trek, you can walk with our guide to experience the beauty too! ) 

Through friendships made on previous trips, we have been invited to have lunch with a local family at their home in Giza. We will have the opportunity to try traditional foods and learn about the local way of life. ( Vegetarian meals are always available on VIVE trips!)

We will transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon. Book an experience at the luxurious Iridium Spa or enjoy the evening at your leisure. There are some trendy restaurants at the St. Regis hotel you'll want to indulge in during your stay! Breakfast & Lunch Included

Day 4 - Old Cairo, Biblical Sites, Mosques, Local Markets

After breakfast at the hotel, join our group on a special visit to Old Cairo. Here is where we will get  to walk in the footsteps of great teachers from thousands of years ago. We will visit the churches & historical sites of Coptic Cairo. ( Step inside the home where Jesus, Mary & Joseph lived for 3 years) We will also visit Abu Serga Church &  Amr Ibn el Aas Mosque. 

For lunch, we will head over to Khan el Khalili Market for lunch at one of the most famous restaurants in Old Cairo. Enjoy authentic Egyptian cuisine and soak in the fun atmosphere!

We know our VIVE Travelers love shopping, so you will have free time to explore the winding alley ways of the Bazaar and shop until your heart is content. 

We will return to the hotel In the late afternoon so you can enjoy some relax time. This evening would be a great time to book a massage, nice dinner or pack your bags for tomorrow's adventure.   Breakfast & Lunch Included

Day 5 - Fly to Luxor, Dinner + Relax

Enjoy breakfast at your leisure. In the early afternoon, our private driver will transfer us to the airport for a one hour flight to Luxor.

We will check into the Hilton Luxor, located on the beautiful Nile River. Luxor is a welcomed change of pace after spending the past few days in Cairo. Palm trees and an infinity  pool with a swim up bar await you at the hotel.

The dinner buffet is included in your stay each night.  Enjoy a nightcap & soak up all the peaceful vibes.   Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day 6 - Karnak Temple, Relax Time, Luxor Temple at Sunset

After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the most majestic sites in Egypt, Karnak Temple. Famous for its breathtaking columns ( which took thousands of years to build! ) hieroglyphics and incredible energy... this will be a morning you hold in your heart forever. 

Our certified egyptologist will make sure that we get the full experience while here. Our early morning visit will allow us to beat the crowds and yes ... get all those Insta-worthy photos you've dreamed of.

Enjoy the rest of your day relaxing back at the hotel's infinity pool or explore the local neighborhood!

At sunset, we will visit Luxor Temple just  a few minutes from our hotel. This was the temple of many famous kings and pharaohs. Walk in the footsteps of King Rameses II & King Tut just to name a few.  Each section of Luxor Temple is designed around a Chakra so yogis will be in awe of the design! Not sure what we are talking about?  No worries! Our guide will share stories of thousands of years ago that explain why millions of people a year flock to this gorgeous temple each year.

Day 7 - Valley of The Kings & Farewell Party

After breakfast we will transfer via motorboat across the Nile River to the West Bank. Here we will arrive at the Valley of the Kings ( The famous burial sites of the Kings & Queens of Egypt's past. ) This is the perfect place to end our journey as we have been learning about their lives since we arrived. The elaborate tombs will take your breath away! We have included a special VIP pass to go inside King Tut's tomb, a place not every visitor gets to experience.

We will visit our friends at a local Alabaster Crystal factory for shopping and mingling with the sweet locals in this region. Return to the hotel to freshen up in the afternoon.

Our contacts in Egypt have arranged a very special dinner for our last night in Luxor. Join us for a special White Party to celebrate the beautiful journey. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day 8 - Transfers to Airport or Le Meridien Hotel

After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the airport ( flying back to Cairo for your International Flight home )  For those who have a late night departure, we have reserved a private hotel room at Le Meridien Hotel at Cairo Airport so you have a place to rest before your flight. Enjoy their swimming pool, comfy bed and many restaurants on property. Only the best for our VIVE Travelers! Breakfast Included
